How are influence scores determined?

Influence scores (0-100 scale) are based on organizational roles, responsibilities, and decision-making authority. Governance and executive positions typically score highest (80-100), followed by senior leadership and heads of department (65-85), teaching staff (50-60), and support operations (40-60). These scores reflect formal authority structures and are not assessments of individual capability or value to the school community.

Who appears in the Governance and Leadership tiers?

The Governance tier includes Board of Trustees members (Presiding Member, Principal, parent representatives, co-opted members, staff and student representatives, and Board Secretary). The Senior Leadership Team includes the Principal and Deputy Principals who oversee school operations. Whānau Leadership comprises heads of each whānau group who manage pastoral care and student wellbeing within their designated student communities.
